Sri Lanka. He holds a General Management Diploma at the National University of Singapore. Mr.Yatiwella was a subject prize winner in Financial Management at the Final II examination of CA Sri Lanka.

Mr.Yatiwella worked as an Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young Sri Lanka (Chartered Accountants) and then joined Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC in March 2003 as an Accountant. He has experience as the Finance Manager since January 2006 and was promoted as the Group Finance Director in July 2014 and continued to be in service till March 2021 at Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC, Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC, Regnis Lanka PLC, and Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC. He also served as an Alternate Director to the Board from July 2014 to March 2021 at Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC and Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC. Further, he served as the Director for two main subsidiary companies and as Company Secretary for Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC. Mr.Yatiwella performed as Secretary to the Board Remuneration Committee at Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC. He was awarded the Diamond Club Membership and runners-up for Most Valuable Player by Singer Asia Limited during his period of service.
